Proteus Pools are a derivative of the world famous Myrtha Pool System from Italy

Myrtha Pools was founded in Italy in 1961 and is a world leader in the supply and installation of swimming pools. They have built swimming pools in over 70 countries and have structured and developed their exclusive technologies, specialising in made-to-measure solutions for large completion pools.

As an Official Partner to FINA, the world governing body for swimming, diving, water polo and associated sports, Myrtha Pools are frequently used at Olympic, world and European swimming competition venues.A good example being London 2012

Proteus Pools have the same pedigree, are designed by the same engineers, are produced in the same factory and utilise the same materials. They are truly a smaller version of a Myrtha pool.

The system sits between a liner pool and a concrete pool in so much as it utilises ceramic, porcelain or stone tiles at water level with high specification membrane below the tile band. The walls are vinyl coated stainless steel and the floor is finished with a 1.5mm thick reinforced vinyl membrane.
